The Borderlands Chapter is located ing the geographic and cultural region north of the Arizona portion of the US-Mexico border. The chapter is located on O'odham Jewed, Opata, and Chiricahua Apache Lands. For more information email info-borderlandsmn@azmasternaturalist.org.

The Central Highlands Chapter encompasses the Central Arizona Highlands, often referred to as the Transition Zone or Mogollon Highlands; a rugged, 300-mile-long ecological and geological bridge between the Colorado Plateau to the north and the Sonoran Desert to the south. The Pima County Chapter's Local Chapter Sponsor is Pima County Conservation Lands Department. The Pima Chapter is the Flagship Chapter of the AZMNA.
